What is the Empowerment Map?

The Empowerment Map helps you find empowerment opportunities in the capital. It includes any activities which help people have a say in the decisions that affect their lives. It also includes training and development opportunities.

The map was created by London Civic Forum to help people find out about what’s going on in their area, and to help organisations publicise their work.

How it works

Click on the London borough you want to know about, and then chose the activities you’re interested in by clicking on the list or on the map. On the map, empowerment opportunities are in blue and training opportunities are in grey.

You can add filters to find specific types of opportunities – for example, activities for young people.

Some of the organisations on the map work across borough boundaries, so you might want to look at the boroughs around the one you live or work in.
